Awareness Building Through Fund Raising

One of K.I.D.S. goals is to raise awareness about poverty and the needs of children and families living in developing and third world countries. Several schools in Canada have taken on fundraising events to help children live better lives. The teachers have also taken this opportunity to raise awareness in their students about social responsibility, compassion, generosity and global issues. Your school can help us make a real difference to children’s lives by supporting our project work. You can choose to support a specific educational, water, health or housing project. We will be happy to send e-mails updating your students on how their contribution is making a difference. We will also send pictures of the children you have helped and of the projects you have supported.

Leave a Legacy - Will Bequest

Many individuals support charitable organizations through future gifts from their estates. A Charitable Will Bequest is a direction in your Will that instructs your Executor(s) or Trustee(s) to leave one or more of your assets to a charitable organization. A Charitable Will Bequest is one way to change children’s lives by giving to K.I.D.S. while helping your income tax liability in the year of death. A Charitable Will Bequest is a meaningful way to reduce your estate taxes and leave a legacy that makes a difference in the lives of children.

K.I.D.S. will issue a charitable tax receipt for the full value of your bequest.

Please Seek Expert Advice: If you are interested in leaving a gift to K.I.D.S. we strongly recommend that you seek professional advice to ensure your financial goals are considered and your tax situation is reviewed.
